Happy Day after Halloween!  

I had to chuckle - Olivia has been telling us for at least 2 months that she wanted to dress up as Elsa from Frozen for Halloween.  SO, we had a dress that could pass as Elsa's.  We picked up the wig so she could LOOK like Elsa.

Guess what?  That little 3 year old mind (can you believe she's 3???) decided at the last minute, that she wanted to wear her Lellow/Orange (as she describes it) Easter dress, no wig.  She would be Elsa that way!  :)  SIGH - best laid plans as a parent you find out don't always work out as planned!  Well, there's always next year!  :)

Well, at least the Halloween card for her special notes box worked out as planned!  :)

So, today in honor of Humor Me Wednesday (which is why I told you the above story), here is her Halloween card!  Complete with Lellow/Orange ribbon!  LOL

If you can laugh at it, you can live with it!

Black, White and a POP of Halloween....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

This is the first Halloween that we actually got Livy a 'real' costume.  Last Halloween, she was only 6 weeks old, so because it was SNOWING on Halloween last year, we opted for a cute Halloweeney Onsie and black cat pants.  

This year, she's going to be an adorable little Owl!  We did a trial run two weeks ago and went to the the local community Boo Bash.  She was more interested in all the kids and 2 inflatable pumpkins.  But she was too cute!  :)  She is growing by leaps and bounds!  She doesn't walk, she RUNS everywhere.  She is very inquisitive and doesn't miss a thing!  

We are having SO MUCH FUN watching her grow and learn!  What an amazing gift we have been given!!  

I digress, today is a new challenge at The Bug Blog and when I saw it, I immediately thought of a Halloween card for Livy's special box.  

BLACK, WHITE & a POP of color!!  No specific color, just a POP of color!

Jelly Bean's First Halloween

So our little Jelly Bean has finally arrived - nearly 2 weeks late, but she's HERE!

And what an amazing addition she is to our lives!

So because I don't have much time, I wanted to quickly share with you the Bugaboo Stamps Photo Challenge this week.

When I see apples and changing leaves, not only do I think of Fall, but automatically one of my favorite holidays - HALLOWEEN!

Only fitting to whip up a first Halloween card for our little princess.

I have to say, this is one of my favorite holidays (other than Christmas).
We decorate at our house and carve pumpkins, though it's been a few years since we've dressed up at Halloween. :)

My husband's cousin who I adore and her husband and daughter just adopted a new baby.

We got to meet the new addition to our family this past weekend at her baby shower.  What a sweet baby and what a VERY SPECIAL big sister she has!

So, of course, it's NEVER too early to start with cards in our family.  

Hence her very first Halloween card!  :)

New Release - Boo to You!

I LOVE this time of the year.  I.PUFFY {heart} it!

Add Pumpkin Carving and Apple Picking right at the top of the 'Reasons I PUFFY {heart} Fall!!!

Imagine how excited I was when I saw that Jodie had this great new release for us to play with today! 

Yep, I will get ahead on my Fall & Halloween cards.  We picked up a new printer over the weekend, a Canon Pixma to replace our not-so pleasing, make my head-spin while trying to print HP printer.

(Can you say BIG YUCK-O).  

Can I tell you - I PUFFY {heart} our new printer!!

I just might get caught up on some of my scrapbooking here in the near future - I love it that much - prints photos fabulously!!

Yes, Sir - lots of PUFFY {heart}'s around here this weekend!

Another PUFFY {heart}   I'm not sure if I told you about our afternoon routine while we were in Aurba.....well, it involved Frozen Pina Coladas for both my hubby and I.

Well, we've both been missing our afternoon cocktail hour, so we broke out the tropical glasses, mini umbrellas and Rum.  Yep, Pina Colada Saturday....and Sunday....and Monday (hey, we HAD to celebrate the end of summer, right?)

So, I've been playing along with the CDAC Progressive Challenge (or at least I'd like to say I was).

I got this super cute Halloween Cat with a Bat Mask (image by Priscilla Styles).

So, I had this card done last week and for some reason thought I had an extra day or too to post it.

Aside from crafty stores, I love making a stop at Target once a week or so - they always have fun stuff if you look around enough.  On my most recent trip, I found these Stripey Halloween Bags.
