Christmas in July @ The Bug Blog!

I know it's been awhile - Life has been crazier than usual.

However, today kicks off our annual Christmas in July Celebration at The Bug Blog for Bugaboo Stamps.  I just HAD to find time to play along!!

If you've never had the chance to join the fun (and chance to WIN LOTS OF PRIZES) this week is the WEEK!

Today's Challenge:

So, I used this opportunity to get AHEAD on one of Livy's Special Notes for CHRISTMAS!

YAH ME - because I'm NEVER this far ahead!!!!  :)

Image - Bugaboo Stamps - Snowman Set 02

Papers - PTI Cardstock Erin Bradley Design Prints (Digital Papers)

Tools - Cuttlebug & Nesties

Extra STUFF - Sequins (My NEW FAVE Embellie!), Dimensionals, Computer Generated Sentiment, Pearls & Silky Ribbon

Isn't it just adorable?!  I'm SO pleased with the way this turned out!  :)

If you haven't checked out digi-papers, or have never been a fan (like me), I found this AWESOME digi paper company that I just LOVE.  I've been using a TON of Erin Bradley Design prints.  You can check her out here.

I'll have more creations with her papers to share when time allows.

Well, enough from me - be sure to check out all the inspiration from our designers today - there's a WHOLE LOT!  You won't be disappointed!

Then, be sure to visit The Bug Blog each day for our newest challenge and play along.  Amazing prizes if you play all week and daily prizes as well!

Hugs & Happy Days!

Happy New Year - Anything Goes!

Happy New Year!

Seemed like a good time now that the holidays have come and gone to share with you the design for our holiday Christmas Card.

I LOVE the new Bugaboo Penguins, so it's no surprise that they're ending up on EVERYTHING I created around Christmas.  INCLUDING our Family Christmas card.

I also found a GREAT digi paper place and have fallen in LOVE with their papers - Erin Bradley Designs.  Check it out - that's lots of bright colors (which I love) and with the limited time I have to create, being able to simply print off a sheet of paper is AWESOME!!! I really couldn't tell you the last time I laid foot in a craft store and purchased scrapbooking materials (which is probably good with the studio full of STUFF I have).  These papers and 'extras' are AWESOME for stuff like this and just thought I'd share.

Image - Bugaboo Stamps - Snowflake Penguin

Papers - Digital papers from Erin Bradley Designs

Extra stuff - Fonts from my computer (Hello line) and a free frame colored

I also created note cards for Livy to 'write' for Christmas - again, complete with this little Snowflake Penguin.

Adorable, right??  :)

If you haven't been over to The Bugaboo Stamps Store, you'll really want to take your Crafty Christmas Cash and check out the great new images.  You'll fall in love with these little penguins too, I'm sure!

Don't forget, head over to The Bug Blog too and join today's Anything Goes Challenge - great way to kick off the year and get yourself ready for next weeks Week-long Birthday Bash!

Hugs & Happy Days!

Happy Christmas

We're getting down to the wire - Christmas is JUST around the corner.

For once in years, I'm actually AHEAD of schedule getting our Christmas Cards in the mail!  :)

Got Livy's Santa picture taken last weekend while visiting my mom in my hometown.

AND, with the Christmas cards (which arrived on Wednesday and are all addressed and ready to mail), we need an Address Label to match!

For our Christmas Card, I used this adorable Bugaboo Stamps Snowflake Penguin, so, he made his way out of the envelope and ON TO the envie!

Image - Bugaboo Stamps - Snowflake Penguin

Used Pixlr to color image and married the copy with the image in MS Publisher (you can use other programs as well - MS Outlook is another I occasionally use.

So, now to the mailbox tomorrow to mail our holiday cards!  If I have a chance, I'll share with you our Christmas card, or at least the creative part of it later this week!

Be sure to visit The Bug Blog and see what other ABC projects have been created - you'll be amazed and inspired!

Hugs & Happy Holidays!

HOLIDAY CHAOS IS HERE!!!

It's finally arrived!

Bugaboo Stamps Annual Holiday Chaos!

Our first challenge - Merry & Bright

Make it Merry & Make it Bright!!!

Show us your Holiday Spirit!

We just finished with most of our Christmas decorating and Livy just LOVED it this year!

Ornaments on the tree have been hung, taken down and rehung more times than we can count!  She loves to turn on the lights when it gets dark and thinks every night is Christmas Eve.

She can't wait for Santa to come!

So, this little Merry & Bright card is for her special note box :)

First time I've had a good chance to do some creating after my 'studio earthquake/tornado' and I really had fun! :)

Dear Santa...

Even though Livy was too little to write a letter to Santa this year, we still wanted to write one for her!  He needed to know there was a new kiddo in this house (usually he just stops by for the cookies and adult beverages at our house :)  This year it was milk & cookies.

Jodie has this great little Blank Dear Santa Scroll that was perfect for just that!

Volia - Easy Peasy letter to Santa!

We also have 2 sets of grandparents that are celebrating with us this year.  Below is the Christmas card from Livy to her Grandma Horses.

It's also Oldie But Goodie Day at Bugaboo's Catch The Bug Blog, so I thought I'd share with you this adorable little Kidz Oldie.

What a year!!!

Well, I wanted to share one last Christmassy card with you before we move into the New Year!

I'm not sure if you've seen the From The Heart Stamps, but I recently came upon them and have fallen in love with this silly little birdbrains!!  These two could very well be Glen and I when it comes to Christmas light hanging (though he's usually VERY careful on the ladder and not hanging upside down).
