Oldie But Goodie Thursday

Happy Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps today!  =)

I forgot to share with you earlier in the week the Mother's Day Cards for our mom's that I whipped up (about the ONLY thing I actually created last week).
Yep, you can say it - SLACKER!!
The joys of starting a new job and not having any brain cells left when you get home to do anything but go to bed.

I have to say, I am pretty stoked about this new opportunity I've been given.  It's a job that is so up my alley - I love the creativity - and the organization (I'm a bit OCD when it comes to organization in some things).

Okay, enough of that A.D.D. - here's this bright and fun card I whipped up (did I mention that I love me some Cosmo Cricket "Delovely" paper??)
Image - Bugaboo Stamps "Flower Jar"
Papers - Cosmo Cricket "Delovely" Scraps, & Bazzill Scraps from my scrappy bin
Coloring - Copics
Tools - CM Corner Punch
Extra STUFF - Custom colored BLING, Ribbon from my stash & Dimensionals

I just LOVE these colors together!! =)  Some of my FAVORITE paperline that I HOARD (because they quit making the Delovely line).

Happy Mother's Day!! =)

Happy Mother's Day to my Mama, my hubby's Mama (my 'nother mama) and my friend Holly who is a Soon-to-Be Mama - and of course, all the other wonderful Mom's out there!
GOD BLESS YOU!
Without Mom's - where would be be?  Probably running low on manners, in need of a shower and clean change of clothes and maybe, quite possibly a bit hunger.
So, if you're a mom - THANK YOU for all you do for your friends & families!

My apologies for being a slacker this week - I started a new job this past Monday (that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!) and with all the new stuff that I've been trying to absorb, most of my brain cells are way too fried by the time I finally get home to do much of anything but eat dinner and go to bed.

Hopefully, this week will be a bit different - Week 2!

However, to make up for my being MIA - I thought I'd share with you one of our sunset photos from our trip to St. Pete Beach.
This was the view from our balcony - EVERY night!

We had a blast and actually attended our very first Food Truck Rally!  =)  My hubby and I enjoyed it so much we can't wait for the next one we can take advantage of!  =)

Wishing you or your Mama a VERY happy Mother's Day!

It's another Marvelous Monday

over at Shelly's Images!!  Today the new release is a gorgeous pair of tulips.  I LOVE Tulips.  While mine are still TRYING to bloom, this new release from Shelly's Images is almost as perfect as the real thing.  It sure is as PRETTY as the real thing - unfortunately doesn't smell ike the real thing though - seems mine smells like some weird combination of paper and markers with a little glue thrown in - Go Figure!
This image was so pretty I just had to use it for our Mother's Day cards.
Both my mom and Glen's mom are MASTER Gardners - they can make ANYTHING GROW, so this was just PERFECT for them both!!

Papers - ALL from my STASH
Coloring Medium - Prisma Markers & Copics
Punch/Diecutting - EK Success & MS; Nesties
Extra Stuff - Tulle (my new FAVORITE thing); sentiment from Studio G Stamps; Doilies from M's; Bling & Doodling

Happy Mother's Day

Here's a mother's day card I can post today (the other two have to wait until tomorrow as they introduce a new release at Shelly's Images! :)
I always try & make a mom's day card from my nephew (and new niece now) for my friend Amy (who I'm sure will read this before the card arrives as my postal skills have been lacking this week).
Anyway, this is my nephew who loves dinosaurs, so these cute images from Doodle Dragon Studios seemed to be the perfect fit!
Images - Doodle Dragon Studios (2 dinos & background)
Technique - MCPT
Paper - Left-over Coredinations
Other Stuff - Stickles; Googley Eyes (OF COURSE); Fiskars Apron Punch; Computer Generated Sentiment; dimensionals to pop up 2 dinos & sentiment
The inside reads " To the most DINO-MITE Mom in the World!
So many things going on today - today is the deadline of th Twist & Sketch Crop for the big Crop prize.  Make sure you swing by Scrap-Friendzy and check out the Sketches the design team posted.
Also, TOMORROW is Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images Blog - be sure to stop by and see the new release - it's one I'm sure you'll LOVE!!  Plus, Scrappy is our DT host this week and she's got lots of GREAT things up her sleeve!!
Thank so much for stoppin' by today.
I hope you're enjoying your mom - that's were we're headed this morning - to my mom & dad's.

Sunshiney Sunflower!

I thought I'd quickly share the Mom's Day invite for this year.
The Sunflower is from Stretch Your Imagination.
The leaves are from Accent Essentials.
I used DS to attach the two sunflowers together.
The Center was cuttlebugged.
The invitation is on the inside.
Cardstock (Greens & Brown) was from my stash
The Metallic Yellow was paper I picked up at M's.
I thought it turned out cute, how about you?
Hope you're having a good Monday.
Happy Craftin'!

Way too fast!

Happy Sunday! This weekend has flown by WAY TOO FAST!!!
Of course this morning I couldn't sleep in, so I spent the better part of the day working on a family album, a few cards and some other odds & ends.
So, because I'm not finished with the album yet and because the stickles are still drying on the cards, here's another layout I had finished. It's KIND of a repeat - it's a bit like the 2 I did for our parents for Christmas, but it was just such a great layout and photo that I had to put one in our album too.
Thanks for looking! I hope you had a great weekend! If you're anywhere where it's cold, stay bundled up and happy crafting!
