With Heartfelt Sympathy

Happy Monday!  Today was the kind of Monday I like - one that I got to spend at home, enjoying the day.  I've got a list of felted slippers that need making for Christmas, so I was able to work on a pair while I enjoyed the time on the deck.  I've knitted 2 pair in the last 2 weeks.  It's never too early to start on Christmas projects! :o)  I've been working on several paper projects also - a chipboard album for a class at Live Laugh Love Scrap in October, Cards and some Design Team projects.  Right now I'm listening to it rain and contemplating an early night (nothing better than falling asleep to the rain!)
In any case, two of the cards I did today were Sympathy cards for a family who lost their mother/grandmother.  A wonderfully special lady who lived 101 years and would have celebrated 102 in November.  She was a woman I never met, but she was kind enough a few years ago after my mother in law asked me to knit her a foo-fa-la scarf.  In return she knitted Glen and I the most beautiful yellow blanket.  Certainly a woman who touched many lives in her time here.
These two cards are for her son with whom she lived and her granddaughter who is a family friend.  Simple but heartfelt.
