We just finished with most of our Christmas decorating and Livy just LOVED it this year!  

Ornaments on the tree have been hung, taken down and rehung more times than we can count!  She loves to turn on the lights when it gets dark and thinks every night is Christmas Eve.

She can't wait for Santa to come!

So, this little Merry & Bright card is for her special note box :)  

First time I've had a good chance to do some creating after my 'studio earthquake/tornado' and I really had fun! :)

Last Day of Chaos!!

Happy Friday - and the last day of the Bugaboo Stamps Christmas Chaos celebration!  We're getting ready for our annual cookie exchange and holiday brunch, or this year Livy's first cookie party.  Lots of cookie making going on around here!!!!

However, we had a few quick minutes to whip up a clean and simple Christmas card for the grandparents.  It may not look simple, but in relation to what I usually create, it's VERY simple!

Oldie Bug Goodie - Critters

We continue to celebrate our Christmas Chaos week and today, we've got a Christmas Critter day challenge.

Our Christmas Critter?  A cute teddy bear that adorns the top of Livy's first Cookie Party Invitation.

We'll be making lots of cookies this week and celebrating with lots of special ladies in Livy's life for brunch on Sunday.

Christmas Chaos - Oldie But Goodie

So today our Christmas Chaos at The Bug Blog includes Christmas Treats - YUMMO!

The Treat I picked - Fruit Cake....long story, but we have an aunt that means well, but rarely do we eat anything she cooks/bakes (imagine tuna deviled eggs with peas, Green Bean casserole with lima beans & carrots - no Green Beans involved and even some of those dishes that show up at the holiday table that no one can quite figure out WHAT it is......).  Anyway, every year she would give us each a Fruit Cake that had been made several years prior I'm sure and usually, when you took it out of the gift bag, it was still frozen as a BRICK.  

So, Fruit Cake has a special & funny place in our hearts in our family!  LOL

Of course, as usual, I digress - the Fruit Cake challenge - Make it FUNNY and out of only scraps.

So, here are the scraps I started with - the only thing that wasn't a scrap was the Card base.

Holiday Chaos - UGLY SWEATER

Every year we host a Cookie Exchange Swap & Brunch at our house for some of my girlie friends and of course our mamas.  However, when I see UGLY SWEATERS, I often wonder if we should host a silly couples UGLY SWEATER Christmas party!

Well, TODAY at The Bug Blog, we're hosting an UGLY SWEATER party, er, challenge rather.
