Oldie But Goodie: Baby Gift edition

So because I shared with you the Onsies on Monday, I thought I'd share with you a few more things that ended up in the Baby Gift Bag, including the Baby card that has a little Oldie But Goodie Bugaboo sweetie!
Image - Bugaboo Stamps - Baby Bundle Heart
Papers - Doodlebug Design Baby stack & Bazzill Cardstock
Tools - Cuttlebug, Nesties & CM Corner punch
Extra STUFF - BLING, Colorbox Ink, Doodling, Dimensionals & Studio G Sentiment Stamp

Of course, the Blanket, hand-knitted.  It's something that I do for all the new babies in the family.  :)
And I love the little shadow boxes.  So because little Isla (baby sis) has a big sister, Suzannah, it was only fitting that they have matching shadow boxes for their bedrooms!

Yep, so that's part of the baby gift bag for this new little addition to our family.
What fun I had whipping these little projects up!

Thanks so much for visiting today!  It's always nice to share some new creations with others that can appreciate the time and thought that goes into them!

A little Ditty from Christmas!

Happy Sunday!
I thought I'd share with you a shadow box I did for Glen's Aunt and Uncle for Christmas.

I added the Scor-tape for them to add their favorite family pic (hence the four white strips of 'stuff' that totally screw up the photo.  =)

It's been ages since I've done any scrapbooking it seems like - definitely need to get back into that - it was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Tools - Cuttlebug, Sizzix die, Cricut, Nesties (for the flower), Embossing Folder
Extra STUFF - Burlap, Fall leaves, dimensionals, Gold Button from my button box, Color Box Chestnut Roan Ink and Miscellaneous Papers from my scrappy stash.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!
Hope you're having a wonderful 2013 so far!  =)

Baptism Day

I thought I'd share the card and shadow box I finished late last night for my niece Natalie's Baptism today.  Her room is purple and sage, so that's why I picked the colors I did for the shadow box.
I love how everything turned out and am so pleased with the final product.  I put it in a white wooden shadow box, but when I took a photo of it in the box of course, there was way too much light on the glass.
It looks gorgeous in real life.
Paper - All Bazzill Cardstock
Tools - Cricut - scalloped purple frame around photo mat & Heaven Sent (Lyrical Letters)
Miscellaneous - Flat Backed Pearls, Prima White Flowers, Prima white pearl swirl, Purple Flowers - Michaels floral section, Fiskars & EK Success Punches
For the Card, I used many of the same materials - the additions were:
Stamp - Stampendous Floral Cross
Embossing - Versa Mark Ink & Zing Lavender Embossing powder
Sentiment - Created in MS Publisher with Word Art
And I can't post Baptism gift & card photos without a little photo of the sweet baby girl now can I?  Isn't she precious?
Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you're having a great weekend.
Off to watch a little NCAA March Madness....well, I'll listen and color some new Easter images and hubby will watch. We've already thrown away our brackets as Kansas lost last night and that's who we had winning.  I imagine there are a lot of basketball fans that did the same thing we did.
Go Green - Go White!
Happy Craftin'!

Just wanted to quick post the Scrapbook Framed Family page I did for our parents for Christmas. Got to use a bit of my stash up! :)
This was Mother's Day this past May. The Pistons were in the playoffs and of course, they were playing on Mother's day. We all look at this photo & laugh
Thanks for looking - See you in the New Year!

A Welcome Creative Haven

Welcome to Kaymin Kreations - A Creative Haven for Ideas & Inspiration
I've had such a great time with our 'family' blog, I decided it's only fitting to create our Kaymin Kreations 'crafty' blog - my own little Kreative Paradise.
So, no more babble - Let the creativity begin!

This was a wedding shower gift I created for my girlfriend Sue who got married last weekend. The Shadow Box was done in colors that matched her wedding color scheme. It has a place for a 5x7 wedding photo of the bride and groom on their special day.
My mom who owns an Embroidery Store in Ann Arbor, MI (Unique-A-Peel Embroidery), embroidered the hankies with Sue & Kris' name and their wedding date. The hankies were given to special family and friends at the wedding. The Bride and Groom both carried one as well.
Lastly, my most recent favorite creations - CHIPBOARD ALBUMS!
This Bridal Shower Album was purchased through Debbie Gillett, owner of http://www.laserlady.net/. She's a pleasure to work with and I LOVE the albums she creates.
Page by Page photos are below. I'm addicted to my Cricut, and anyone who is a Cricut fanatic like I am knows I used a TON of Cricut cuts! Here's a quick Laundry List of 'stuff' I used on this album, I'm sure there's something I left out, but you get the idea.
Carts used: Walk in My Garden (for flowers/wheel barrow), George (for hearts), Tear Drop (for text - with multiple features used. . . . ), Jasmine (for Photo Corners), Christmas Cheer (for gifts & swirls) MM for Scalloped square
Sizzix die for some add'l swirls
Also used Primas, misc. buttons, skittles, pearls, inks, stamps & cuttlebug embossing folders(Dvine Swirls & Swiss Dots) for photo mats. The photo mats are for either 3x4 photos or 2x3 photos. Because she had 2 bridal showers, I did 2 separate sets of pages for each shower and in between the adjoining pages, I shrunk down the invite and laminated it so she would have it in this album, but it wouldn't take up precious photo space. There are a lot of little places where I have pull tags for additional photos and journaling as she LOVES photos.
Thanks so much for stopping by, feel free to comment, or just say hi.
I'm not quite sure which direction this blog will go, but I'll figure that out as we go along!
Tonight includes working on a little creation for a contest entry on the Bitten by The Bug site.
Hope your day is filled with Sunshine & Rainbows and LOTS of Creativity!!
