Humor Me Wednesday

Not only do I have a little HUMOR ME WEDNESDAY project for ya, but also a HUMOROUS story for ya too!
So, I've NEVER been stuck in an elevator....that is, until this past Monday - on one of the hottest days of the year so far in Michigan, during lunch rush, at work....In an elevator with NO Air Conditioning....on a Monday....for 35+ minutes....with 4 other people....

Yep, that's one thing I can check off my Bucket List - Get stuck in Elevator when it's hotter than $#!^ - Yep, been there, done that, no need for the T-Shirt!
At least we can chuckle about it (my hubby loved my text to him from my little 8x8 sweat box).  =)
Okay, so back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

I don't know about you, but I LOVE picking fresh veggies & fruits in the summer - just something about the fresh produce in the summer!

My Mama and I have plans to create the day away - her stash of cards that we made in March have quickly run out and so today, she's restocking.  =)  Today, I'm off to get my stock pile of Birthday and Thinking of you cards replenished and whip up a few Mother's Day cards for some special ladies.

SUPER YUMMY - DO OVER Banana Bread Recipe

So I found this great Banana bread recipe on Pinterest - you can find EVERYTHING there I keep telling Glen!!!!  =)

Other than my mama's Banana bread recipe, I think this is the BEST BLANANA BREAD recipe I've tried!!

You can check out the recipe HERE at Thirty Handmade Days.

Because I only had 1 large loaf pan, I ended up with 1 large loaf and three little mini-loaves baked in little metal mini-loaf pans.  I think the mini-loaves were our favorite.

The fabulous women I work with LOVED it, my mama and our friends LOVED it and I LOVED it! 

All that Lovin - I consider it a SUCCESS!

We will definitely be making this bread again.

Today is Mother Goose Day, Friday is Lumpy Rug Day and Saturday is Bird Day and Space Day.

This month is National Photograph Month, National Hamburger Month (which makes my hubby VERY happy especially since it feels like spring might REALLY BE HERE!!), National Salad Month and National Barbecue Month (another holiday my hubby is all about celebrating!)

This takes me back to my days as a kid growing up in the country and visiting a friend that lived on a dairy farm.  =)  The bottle fed baby cows were the sweetest!
