Pumpkins!

Pumpkins are my FAVORITE part of Fall - Not sure if it's the color (LOVE LOVE LOVE ORANGE) or the fact that you can carve them with fabulous designs or paint them with funny faces, but they are absolutely wonderful in my book!!!
Here were two that Glen and I carved last year for Halloween (sorry the photo is a bit of a blur). 
My dad I think is the BEST Pumpkin Carver (and watermelon carver too) in the world. 
That's what I loved about Halloween growing up.  :)

I digress (as usual), but now you understand my fascination with pumpkins.

So, with my pumpkin fascination, you can understand why I snapped up this great pumpkin image from Bugaboo's Halloween Mini-Set.

Squish 'em if you Got 'Em!

With it being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Hooter cards have to fall (sorry, bad choice of words) fit in here somewhere, right?  Seems like this is the only time of the year where male boob humor is acceptable and we talk about gettin' 'em squished, boobs (er, 'breasts' in the news) and mammograms all month long!

This by far has to be most men's favorite month of the year!  LOL

During Breast Cancer Awareness month, Who doesn't love a good Hooter card??  For some reason I always think of the movie Beaches when thinking about hooters and "Over the Shoulder Boulder Holders"......The Otto Titsling song on the soundtrack just makes laugh like crazy!
Of course, if you haven't seen Beaches, or heard the Otto Titsling song, you're probably thinking I'm just flat out C-R-A-Z-Y.  My suggestion to you - rent the movie or listen to the sound track. 
You'll be laughing right along with me - padded cell or not!

Of course, I digress (that darn A.D.D.)  Back to Crabby Ms. Stella and her Hooters totin' sign!

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!!

Boy oh boy, is THIS MY KIND OF DAY!!!
It's such a WONDERFUL day it should be a WORLD HOLIDAY! :)

I'm hopin' to do some serious card makin' today - some of my favorite digi-image suppliers (and challenge blogs for that matter) have all kinds of festivities planned for today, so I'm ALL about creatin'!

My favorite (I may be a bit partial) - Bugaboo Stamps Catch The Bug Challenge just so happens to have a little World Card Makin' Day Challenge goin' on today and ANYTHING GOES!!

What a fabulous combination - Card Making, Anything Goes, Birthday, Bling and Cupcakes.  Only way the day could be any better - is by YOU participating and WINNING!!

Thanks so much for popping by today and celebrating World Carm Making day and part of your Saturday with me. 

I'm hoping to twist my hubby's arm to go to the apple orchard tomorrow.  There's just something about picking your own apples in the fall that MAKES it Fall.  We'll get enough apples that we'll be appled out eating them all.  However, I'm getting pretty good at making homemade applesauce and canning, so whatever we don't eat this fall, I'm sure will end up in a canning jar in the pantry for the winter when we're wishing it was fall or summer!

Card Maker of sorts....????

So, I'm not much of a card maker - the 'canvas' seems to be too small for the HUGE ideas, and there's never enough room for all the pictures I take, but this was a card I made for the Monday Motivation Black & White with a pop of color Friend Card challenge over at Scrap Friendzy.
