A Warm little ABC. . .

Did you have a nice holiday?
Santa left good crafty things under the tree?
Did you get up early and do the day after Christmas shopping?

Well, today's little Anything But a Card at The Catch The Bug Blog would have been perfect for the Hot Cocoa and Coffee you may have been sipping while waiting for those doors to open.

Before Christmas I found a FABULOUS recipe for flavored coffee creamer.  Because I only drink 'Foo-Foo' Coffee (aka - Peppermint Mocha), these flavored creamers are AWESOME in my hot cocoa.  :)
I made two kinds of creamers - Peppermint (Of course) and Chocolated Covered Raspberry (UH, YUMMO!)
This is the Peppermint Creamer.
Image - Bugaboo Stamps "November Club Kit" Set
Paper - Core Couture Sparkle Paper
Coloring - Copics
Extra STUFF - Ribbon from my stash, Nesties and Super Cute little Milk Bottle from Hobby Lobby

Challenge this cute little ABC has been entered into -
Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes

And while I've shared this yummy little ABC that lots of family & friends got in their stocking, I'll quickly share the recipe with you incase you'd like to give it a try.
Peppermint Coffee Creamer
3/4 cup Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer
1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
3/4 cup Confectioners Sugar
1/2 cup Crushed Candy Canes

Chocolate Covered Raspberry Coffee Creamer
3/4 cup Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer
1/2 cup Hershey's Cocoa
3/4 cup Confectioners Sugar
1 teaspoon Raspberry Extract
You could make this Chocolate Covered Cherry too with Cherry Extract instead of Raspberry Extract.

Combine and Store in an air tight container.
Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup of coffee/cocoa

Be sure to check back tomorrow and see the Bugaboo Stamps New Release.
Super Cute!!  :)

Do you Hear the Music?!

Today at Shelly's Images, Music is in the Air with a Marvelous Monday New Release musical instrument - this super cool Clairnet image - this image takes me back to my days in the middle school band.  I played the Clairnet (I wanted to play the flute or drums).  I played the Clairnet for just a few years and then decided it wasn't for me and continued on with my piano playing which I still do today.

Funny though, a few years ago, my dad and I have this little 'Gotch ya' game we play (there's a long story behind the game, but I'll save that for another time) - it involves $10 and the way it is shuttled back and forth between the two of us.  That particular year it happened to come back to me in the form of quarters in my old clairnet case, complete with well aged clarinet enclosed.  That story makes me smile.
You can get your Clairnet image today only for a discount at Shelly's Images.  Be sure to pop over to the SI Blog too and check out the AMAZING projects some of the design team girlies created too!

ABC at Bugaboo

We don't have much snow yet here in Michigan - which on days I have to drive more than 5 minutes I'm VERY thankful for, but I love having snow at Christmas!!  We're due for a 'big' storm tonight into tomorrow - NOTHING like some places along the lakes of the Great Lakes have had (4 feet in some places - WOW!)

And today's new Winter Wonderland Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps Catch The Bug Challenge Blog makes me think of snow.  Plus, you have to have good packin' snow for a good ole' fashion snowball fight!  :D
When was the last time you bundled up and had yourself a snowball fight until you laughed so hard you couldn't breathe?  My hubby and I usually have about one a winter (it takes that long to get warm AFTER all the snow has been thrown!)
