Hoppy Easter

So first I had to share what we woke up to this morning - 6" of the wet white stuff (and a tranformer around the corner blowing up at 4:05 this morning). Oh Joy! And here I thought spring was right around the corner! Don't get me wrong, I love the snow (IN DECEMBER), but after 5+ months of cold & snow, I'm perfectly fine with it going away any day (and I'm sure my flowers that were peaking through would be happy if it went away too!).
Okay, moving past the unsightly, pleasureless (is that a word?) bad mother nature joke and to the crafty stuff. I've been working to finish a family album for a client, but had to take a little time out to put together a few Easter cards for the kids. Hoppy Easter, a few days early! I made 10 total. The sketch was from the Sketch & Stash Challenge Blog, Challenge #7.

The House Mouse stamp is my new item (Don't Crack Under...(April '09), the papers are from my stash (can't remember who makes the fun zig zag paper), 'Hoppy Easter' is computer generated in the Curlz font. The inside reads "Hope you have an Egg-cellent Easter". Green for the boys, Pink for the girls and a cute little house mouse on all of them (I really need to find some new stamps to obsess over.....but these are just too darn cute!). Thanks for looking - hoping you're having a Snow-Free 'Egg-cellent Day'.
Happy Craftin'

  1. What a cute card! I love those stamps!
Don't you just hate the snow:( I'm so tired of it!
I would love to go away on a vacation somewhere very HOT...maybe when the kids get a little older.

  2. Love the card! The stamp is so cute. As for the snow, you know the rule, 3 snows after the forsythia blooms. So if a few more flakes fly around today, we should be done with winter.

  3. What a fabulous card, I love how you've used the sketch Min. What a cute little mouse and I love the bright colours!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at Sketch and Stash!
    Love Becky xx

  4. Super adorable card! Love your colors! Can't help but smile when I look at it! :)
Hmmmm that pic of the snow looks familiar...oh yeah, I have the same one on my blog...LOL (Your backyard is much prettier though)

  5. Beautiful cards - I love the cute image and zig zag papers.
My girls are hoping for snow this easter ... it snowed here last Easter!!
Thank you for joining in the Sketch and Stash this week.
