Pearls & Lace Challenge

Happy Saturday - whew, can you believe we're 1/2 way through June already?  Things have been crazy busy at our house - working, trying to enjoy the nice weather and summer, and of course projects galore to get ready for dad's BBQ in July!  Time's a tickin'!
This is ONE of the HUGE projects we've been working on now that SOME of the rain stopped.
About TWO football fields worth of split rail fence.  Everything was scraped, old boards swapped out and fixed AND painted.
Some of the fences BEFORE . . .
And one section of fences AFTER - WOW, do they look good (my bad attempt at a panaramic photo).
After three days of painting, my hands STILL aren't working right! =)
Next projects - building the bench on the deck that dad wanted to build- power washing and upgrading the pillars on the front of the house.
From there, we'll need a few good days to Paint the pillars and Stain the deck and railings - yep, MORE paint brush holding!  LOL
HOWEVER, between fixin' fences, paintin' and plannin' for the party, I try to make a LITTLE time for my paper 'THERAPY' - wasn't too successful this week if you couldn't tell from my lack of posting, but what can you do?
And for today's paper therapy, we get to participate in a Pearls & Lace Challenge over at The Bug Blog.
Pearls and Lace, huh?  Well, it was only appropriate to use the Swanky Scarlette in her cape dress from Bugaboo Stamps for this challenge.
I just LOVE this image!
Papers - Miscellaneous Stripes from my stash, Coredinations & Black Swirl paper
Coloring - Copics
Extra STUFF - Prima Flower, Teal Hem Lace (love this stuff), Lots and Lots of flat backed Pearls and Dimensionals.

Remember, if you join us for the "Pearls & Lace" challenge over at The Catch The Bug Blog, you've got a super chance of winning seven, four or two Bugaboo digis of your choosing.
So, what are you waiting for??
For all the challenge details, you can check out The Bug Blog.
Don't forget too, we've got another fun challenge over at our PCP and CDAC groups (this means MORE chances to WIN Bugaboo cuties of your choice).
Hugs & Happy Days!
