Dawg Day at Bugaboo!

Bee Mine - Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day again!  Holy cow, I'm already up to 3 posts today - CRAZY!!
I wanted to wait until a little later in the day to post this card since it's for my hubby (and I didn't want him to see it here before he saw it in person).  :D
I've had this little Bee from Bugaboo Stamps printed out for some time and finally yesterday after some good crafty-creatin' time, got to put together a little card for my hubby.
Quite different from the Sassy NC -17 Birthday Card he got from me in October. 
This one is Rated G!

Hambo Hoedown!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
Can I just say - I NEVER win, but ONCE in a great while I do!
I was chosen as the
for Week One!

Can I tell you WHY this is SO Funny on SO many different levels?
1)  Grew up in the sticks
2)  Grew up riding horses (not for the prissies or the sissies)
3)  Grew up participating in 4-H (which was for 'country' kids)
We always used to joke about Hoedowns (and cow tipping - but that's for another time)- so the fact that I get to post a winner button that says-
Queen of the Hambo Hoedown is just hysterical to me.

Yep, VERY easily amused here!

You might be asking yourself - what is this Hambo Hoedown?

Scrap-Friendzy Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Happy Day before Valentine's Day and MY challenge for this weekend's Scrap-Friendzy "Friendz with He{ART} crop!
Today we're playing Valentine's Day Tic Tac Toe - pick your tic tac toe - horizontal, diagional or vertical and create create create! :)
Here's the little creation I put together using my vertical tic tac toe of Heart Brads, Romantic Lace and a Love Sentiment - So pleased with the way it turned out. :)  An adorable card for my adorable niece.

Different Foldin' at The Bug Blog!

Are you like me and don't venture too far from the standard 'fold' of your cards?  While they always look fabulous, have you ever thought about trying a DIFFERENT FOLD?

Well guess what, THINK NO MORE - this week's challenge at Catch The Bug is just that -
A DIFFERENT KIND of Card FOLD.

What does that mean?  None of your 'standard' folded in half cards - make it a bit more CHALLENGING.  :)

Today I decided I'd try this neat little flap fold card. 
I found the step by step tutorial on Split Coast Stampers.

Always in My Heart

Happy Oldie But Goodie Day from Bugaboo!!

New Release from Bugaboo

Today's Tuesday and you know what that means?!
New Release from Bugaboo Stamps!!
Because of my lack of planning, I don't have a project for you today, but I WILL share with you the super cute images Jodie's got together.
The New Release is the Prince and Cinderella from February's Digi Club Kit and if you're a Cinderella fan like I am, you'll want to get your hot little hands on the entire kit!

 And, as they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - Jodie's Daughter Skye has a cute little set that is being released today too - Skye's Alexis.  You'll definitely want to check them all out!

Sweet Anything But A Card

It's Monday today (I'm hearing the collective GROAN that it's Monday).
Yep, I haven't had enough caffeine either this morning!
However Monday is a good day - It means were just a few short hours away from a New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps AND that today is Anything But a Card Day.
And since today is the last ABC Monday before Valentine's Day, I'm going to share with you a SWEET Anytyhing But a Card project I made.
I took the plastic container my Mango Green Tea Crystal Light mixes came in - I gave up Mt. Dew a month ago today, so this is my new vice.
The container was way too cute to NOT repurpose - so here we go -

OBG - Garden Cats

Happy Thursday!  Back to work today after yesteday's snow day.  I actually worked from home yesterday because quite honestly I would have spent more of the day in the car than I would have spent in the office.
We ended up with a grand total of 10" at our house and 9" at the farm yesterday.  Not a big deal, but when you add in the blowing and drifting, WOAH!  We had a snow drift off our front porch that was waist high on me (I'm short - only 5'1" on a good day), but that's still a pretty deep drift!

So enough with my stories of deep and blowing snow - today is an Oldie But Goodie Day at Bugaboo and I just love the Garden Cats - I hadn't used them in a bit and thought today was as good as any day to put one of these cute fellas on a card!

February 1??

Holy Cow, it's February already?!  Where did January go??
So today, we picked up 5" of snow and are due for another 12+ tonight.  Can I tell you how excited I am to have two snow days?  Well, I've actually been working from home, but at least I didn't have to drive into work with the snow!!

So, to kick off and celebrate February 1st and the First Snow Day of 2011 for us folks in Michigan, Jodie has two New Release sets today at Bugaboo Stamps - Skelekinz and Skye's Sport Bears - both of which are absolutely ADORABLE!!!
