In Need of Photos.....

So, it's been a productive scrappy weekend, I think I've finally found my missing mojo.
I guess we need to get 6-8 inches of snow more often to snow in the mojo.
So my question for you today - do you usually print out all your photos as 4x6, and size & scrap them from there or do you determine your layout and then size your photos accordingly & print?
I usually figure out my LO's first & then print the photos out so I don't have multiples of the same photo in several different sizes.
How does your creativity work?
I'm looking forward to posting a few more LO's tomorrow as I have the day off and hope to spend part of the afternoon scrapping!
Happy Craftin'!

  1. Min, I usually look at the picture to decide. Sometimes there is a shot that I want more detail to show up so I print it bigger. Then if there are supporting photos, I determine whether they can be cropped or not. If so, I'll print them at 4x6 and if not, I'll print at 3 1/2 x 5 depending also on how many photos I have and want to fit on a page. I also pick the paper before I print the photos. This also helps determine size as I need to determine how much paper I want to show. Hope this make sense. What kind of printer did you get?

  2. We ended up getting an HP 4 in 1 Wireless. We have a photo printer that Glen's bro got us for Christmas a few years ago that I like using. Need to get ink refills though. We haven't had much time to tinker with the new printer and all it's gadgets yet. Hopefully we'll get the chance this weekend as I have a bunch of photos I want to print.
