SO Blessed to have

 Brave Soldiers that keep us safe and protect our freedoms!!

I ran across these super cute MelJen's Designs digis a few weeks ago when she was having the 50% off sale (YEAH!) and thought they would be perfect for a few cards to our Soldiers Angels Soldiers.

I had quite a few to make, so they were easy and cute enough to mass produce - don't you think?

Knowing a little something like this would make our brave soldiers smile when they received it, was all I needed to make a bunch!

5 Doodlelicious Things About Me...

1. My first papercrafts project was......SOOOOO long ago I couldn't remember even IF I had a remotely GOOD memory!!  =)  Heck, I can't even remember what color socks I put on this morning.....DOH, that's right, even though it was 38* this morning I put on FLIP FLOPS!  HA HA! 

2. When I'm not papercrafting, I enjoy.... Spending time with my hubby cooking (yep, we LOVE cooking at our house) or if we're full, fat and happy, I'll probably be knitting felted slippers, socks, baby blankets or market bags.

3. My favorite Whimsie Doodles image is.... WHAT?  Just ONE??  Hmmmmm, well, ONE of my Favorite FAVORITE Whimsie Doodles image is the little Smokin' Hot Grillin' Guy that reminds me all too much of my hubby (and his grill - are you seein' the FOOD theme here at all??). 

I do love the gnomie collection too though! =)

4. My favorite papercrafting technique is... I LOVE LOVE LOVE Embossing and Distressing!

5. My favorite embellishment is....  BLING, BLING, BLINGAGE!!!  =D

I tried a little something different with the image on this card - I know, this has quickly turned into my GO TO Birthday image =)

This time, I cut out a few layers of bows - one layer that was the entire bow, another layer that was only sections of the bow and I just LOVE how it turned out! =)

Super Simple, huh?  Sentiments were printed right through the computer when I printed the image.

I printed a second page of just the images - when I colored and cut the images out, I only cut out the largest part of the image (not those skinny little fruit fly legs).
